After missing the playoffs entirely in Season 1 and an extremely ugly exit from the semi-finals in Season 2 (match sweep loss, inclusive of a perfect shutout loss in the Iron Fist bout by Koyliak against Kelten Tarkenstone), Team Fist’s looking for brighter horizons now that the morrow’s arrived. Captain Matthew Algiers Simon, who holds the 2nd worst PDPB of two-season returnees, has his 3rd Assistant Captain in as many seasons (Harris D’Artianian Season 1, Koyliak VanDuran-Simon Season 2, Kheldar Drasinia Season 3).

Jettisoning two duelers (Wyheree, Jaycy) and losing one to another team (Joku, who was on the Team Fist roster in Season 2 but never dueled), Team Fist has four new members, each of whom have been involved in team dueling before. Whereas Tarl Cabot used to be the team’s sole clutch performer, he now has some help in that department with the additions of Kheldar and Sartan. If Blondie Eastwood & Darik Warchild can put up above-average performances and if Koyliak – the team’s only HeavyWeight – can return to her winning ways, Team Fist Nation might find this very average team on the rise.
