Teams of the Iron Fists League,

Season 2006 has begun! Captains, you may begin submitting lineups for Week One.

The regular season will be seven weeks long, with a mid-season break between Weeks 4 and 5.

Tentative schedule--
Week 1: July 2-10
Week 2: July 9-17
Week 3: July 16-24
Week 4: July 23-August 2
Midseason break: August 3-12 (details regarding the Powerhouse Party to come later)
Week 5: August 13-21
Week 6: August 20-28
Week 7: August 27-September 4
Postseason: September 5-30

Posteason format: At the end of the regular season, the top six seeded teams on the standings will enter the IFL Tournament for the championship trophy.

Qualifying round:
#3 team vs. #6 team
#4 team vs. #5 team
byes: #1 team and #2 team

Semi-finals:
#1 team vs. lowest seeded team
#2 team vs. second-lowest seeded team

Finals: Championship match.

The format of the championship match will be at-match. This means that all four bouts will be fought on the same night: the anchor and crutch bouts will be fought first simultaneously, followed by the relief bout, and then finally the main event bout. Lineups will be submitted no later than the morning of the match, with the scheduled bouts posted throughout the day for all to see.
